This house's facade is visually divided into two zones with different roles, and the KORDEKO Slate White cladding highlights exactly that logic: the upper part — the main walls, the gable, the bay window and the balcony area — stays open and bright, while the lower level receives a darker cladding with variations in shade, suited to the area exposed to splashes and dirt from the ground.
The installation involved many details — windows, corners, decorative profiles, the balcony slab, the staircase, the connections to the rainwater system — and this is precisely where the material fits accurately around the frames and metal elements, maintaining a regular layout. For the light-coloured section, a frost-resistant exterior adhesive based on white cement was used, so that the substrate would not alter the final shade.
The reinforcing mesh on the back ensures secure adhesion, and the low weight of the panels does not overload the walls — a detail that matters on a facade with so many planes.
