Flexible tile for facade — private house in Balti

Area:175 m²
Year:2021

The monumental symmetry, the two side volumes and the arched windows give this house an almost palatial character. KORDEKO Mont Blanc flexible cladding, in a light shade, covers the main planes and precisely follows the faceted geometry of the bay windows — the discreet mineral pattern does not compete with the architecture, but highlights the window surrounds, the string courses between levels and the dark roof.

The arched openings, the numerous external corners and the narrow spaces between windows were the most demanding areas: the panels are cut to the shape of each element, allowing an exact fit to cornices and decorative profiles. The reduced thickness preserves the relief of the details, while a weight of about 4 kg/m² does not overload the projecting volumes.

The plinth, finished with KORDEKO Volcanic Anthracite, visually marks the base of the building and provides a practical solution for the area exposed to water and dirt. The mineral-polymer surface withstands frost, precipitation and UV, preserving the architectural contrast over the long term.
