The architecture of this house is clean and free of unnecessary decoration: the main walls are finished with KORDEKO flexible cladding in a light shade, while darker areas highlight the gable, the side facade and the covered terrace. The black joinery, roller shutters and roof edges tie all the volumes together chromatically — a simple yet well-controlled contrast.
The large glazed openings and the partially cantilevered upper floor called for precise workmanship around the windows, at the internal corners and in the areas meeting the metal profiles. The material is easy to cut to the building's actual geometry, which allows a regular pattern around doors and windows, while its low weight limits the load on the cantilevered areas and the upper level.
The substrate was levelled, cleaned and primed before installation, and a frost-resistant adhesive was used for the exterior. The light finish reflects more light, the dark accents add depth to the volumes, and the resulting facade is practical and well proportioned.
