R04 Cerro-Torre: grey KORDEKO flexible stone that sharpens a building's geometry

Grey is often chosen for its versatility, but R04 Cerro-Torre is interesting for more than its neutrality. Its strength lies in the combination of a cool grey tone and a pronounced stone surface. R04 does not have to cover the entire facade. On the contrary, grey stone is particularly suitable for visual zoning. It can highlight the ground floor, entrance, central block, a projecting volume or a wall beside the terrace. For example, the main facade can remain light while Cerro-Torre is applied to:

The look of stone without a massive structure

Cerro-Torre visually resembles heavy mineral cladding, but the KORDEKO system is constructed differently. KORDEKO flexible tile (PletaFlex) has a mineral-polymer structure and a reinforcing layer. According to the material's technical description, it weighs approximately 4 kg/m² and is about 2.5–5 mm thick, depending on the series and relief.

Its flexibility allows application not only to standard walls but also to columns, arches, curved surfaces and other architectural elements.

Grey stone over an insulation system

Modern architecture often needs to combine appearance with energy efficiency. Properly installed facade insulation creates a functional thermal insulation system, after which R04 Cerro-Torre can be used as the decorative exterior finish.
