Private house in Telecentru — flexible stone facade
The centrepiece of this house is a rounded bay window that continues into a tall volume beneath an intricate roof structure — exactly the kind of geometry that makes it clear why flexible cladding makes sense: the material follows the curve of the wall without a heavy substructure and maintains a continuous pattern around windows, mullions and decorative bands.
KORDEKO's light mineral texture covers most of the facade and highlights the wooden joinery with its warm tone. The white surrounds and vertical elements visually separate the windows, while a darker band at the base defines the plinth and protects the area most exposed to moisture.
When installing on the curved surface, the panels were pressed evenly onto the prepared substrate so that the shape of the bay window remained smooth, with no visual breaks — and the low weight limited the load on this projecting volume. Resistance to frost, moisture and UV makes this solution a fitting choice for a facade where precision matters just as much as durability.
