White volumes, generous glazing and wood-look insertions define the minimalist character of this home. The flexible cladding KORDEKO Wenge is used in the inner courtyard and the terrace area, where it frames the surfaces around the panoramic doors and the side wall — the vertical layout of the dark elements accentuates the height and completes the building's straight lines.
The junctions with the joinery, the internal corners and the upper edges required very precise execution. The material's low thickness allows a clean transition between the white surfaces and the decorative cladding, without bulky profiles. Installation was carried out on a stable, levelled and primed base, with a facade adhesive compatible with dark finishes.
Resistance to moisture, UV and temperature variation matters especially for an outdoor area next to the pool and frequently exposed to the sun. The dark texture of the flexible wood visually warms the composition and turns the terrace into a more comfortable space without disturbing the sobriety of the architecture.
