Flexible stone — private house in Malcoci

Area:190 m²
Year:2024

The contemporary architecture of this house is defined by rectangular volumes, generous glazing and the alternation of grey and white planes. The flexible cladding KORDEKO Slate White and Slate Light Grey works as the main decorative envelope: the light zones visually reduce the building's mass, while the grey insertions mark the entrance, the side wing and the windows. The large format supports the strict geometry and gives the impression of continuous stone panels.

The most important installation details appear around the panoramic windows, at the internal corners, on the parapets and at the transitions between projecting volumes. The low thickness keeps the edges crisp without loading the structure, and the material is fixed to a stable, levelled and primed base with frost-resistant facade adhesive.

The low weight is a clear advantage for the upper levels and cantilevered elements. Resistance to precipitation, UV and temperature swings helps the facade keep its colour and the precision of its lines, completing the house's minimalist style with a modern, well-controlled expression.
