The variety of window openings — rectangular, arched, combined — sets the rhythm of this facade. KORDEKO Tender Rock flexible cladding creates a unified mineral backdrop against which the white surrounds, cornices and vertical decorative elements read especially clearly. The horizontal, small-format layout emphasises the length of the wall and visually unites all levels of the building.
The most technically demanding areas were the arched windows, the narrow mullions and the numerous junctions with the decorative profiles. The material is easy to cut along the actual contour, which makes it possible to maintain a precise pattern even next to atypical elements. Before installation, the substrate was levelled, cleaned and primed, and a frost-resistant facade adhesive based on white cement was recommended for the light-coloured cladding.
The low weight limits the load on the walls, while resistance to moisture, frost and UV matters most on a facade exposed to snow and seasonal temperature fluctuations.
