Flexible stone — private house in Telecentru
The expressive geometry of this house reads through the combination of two different faces of the KORDEKO range: a light shade, close to travertine, on the main surfaces — it supports the architecture with its tall gables, projecting volumes and complex roofline well — and a darker accent, used sparingly to mark certain zones and add depth to the composition.
The warm texture of the light cladding (KORDEKO Tender Rock) doesn't compete with the reddish roof, the metal elements or the decorative fence — it balances them. Flexible cladding cuts easily, follows edges, corners and changes of plane precisely, and its low weight mattered a great deal on a house with so many different volumes.
Resistance to moisture, frost and UV radiation helps the facade keep its appearance over time. The result is a house with personality, where the contrast between the light shade and the darker accent brings out the whole architecture.
