Ialoveni – cottage facade in flexible tiles
The renovation of this house sought a balance between practical wall protection and preserving a warm, traditional appearance. KORDEKO Mont Blanc flexible cladding covers the main walls and the gable, creating a calm backdrop for the burgundy roof, the wooden joinery and the glazed entrance — the subtle relief adds depth without overloading the architecture of a compact house.
The lower section was treated separately, with a plinth featuring a more pronounced stone pattern, which visually defines the base of the house and better conceals traces of dust, splashes and moisture — especially near the steps, pathways and ground level. The material was fitted around the windows, the air conditioning unit, the utility installations, the cornices and the vertical elements.
The substrate was cleaned, levelled and primed, and for the light-coloured finish a frost-resistant exterior adhesive based on white cement was recommended. The low weight protects the walls from unnecessary loads, while the resistance to precipitation and UV keeps the facade looking neat over time.
