About the texture
Milky Travertine is a white travertine with a bush-hammered surface. Bush-hammering creates a finely dotted, matte texture: the stone's porosity is visible up close, while from a few steps away the wall looks even and orderly, with no blotches or abrupt transitions. The panels are laid in a woven pattern of small rectangles, so the plane comes together as a single calm surface.
White is the most neutral shade in the travertine collection. It doesn't clash with the windows, the roof or the downpipes, which is why this texture is taken as the base of the facade, with character added through wood, dark metal and greenery.
The practical properties of flexible travertine
Like all KORDEKO flexible panels, Milky Travertine is lightweight and bonds directly to the wall — there is no need to recalculate the foundation or the load-bearing structure. The material withstands moisture, temperature fluctuations and ultraviolet radiation, so it performs equally well outdoors and indoors.
Its thin profile makes it possible to clad archways, rounded corners, window reveals and columns — areas where natural stone would have to be cut on site.
Where it is used
Milky Travertine finds its place on large facade surfaces, in the entrance area, on plinths and on fences — anywhere a light-coloured stone without an aggressive pattern is required. The uniform bush-hammered surface does not tire the eye across long walls. Indoors, the same material is used for accent walls, stairwells and the fireplace area.
